The Firm's services for debtors include pre-bankruptcy counseling to examine all possible options and scenarios, including pre-bankruptcy work-outs with creditors, before advising whether to file, where it is most advantageous, or filing both individual and business bankruptcy petitions. The Firm service for creditors' claims starts from pre-bankruptcy through the completion of bankruptcy. We advise creditors in deciding how aggressively to pursue a claim in light of the debtor's financial posture, the costs associated with any pursuit, and other practical implications. The Firm will aggressively pursue a claim when warranted.
The firm also represents financial and trade creditors, indenture trustees and official committee parties in Chapter 11 cases and nonjudicial restructurings. We advise and coordinate consensual restructurings and adversarial bankruptcies on insolvency, administration, and liquidation actions. Our practice combines corporate and litigation skills to provide clients with alternate strategies appropriate for particular circumstances.
