Peter F. Healey, Jr. specializes in alternative dispute resolution, including arbitration and mediation, civil litigation, and employment and labor law, arbitration. He is an arbitrator on the Commercial Panel of the American Arbitration Association.

For a variety of corporate, non-profit and individual clients, he has litigated a broad array of matters at administrative hearings and before many federal and state courts with particular emphasis on tort, contract, employment and labor law claims. He is a long-time resident of Washington, D.C. and a past president of a prominent Washington, D.C. trial lawyers organization.

As advocate and alternative dispute resolution practitioner, Mr. Healey has engaged in the full range of employment and labor practice including NLRB matters, collective bargaining, grievance arbitration, and intellectual property. He is a Fellow of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers, and a member of the Litigation and Employment Law sections of the American Bar Association. His federal and state court trial and appellate litigation experience includes class action matters; age, sex, race and disability cases; Equal Pay Act and Fair Labor Standards Act; employee benefit plans; workers compensation and unemployment compensation; Occupational Health and Safety Act issues; employment at will; jury trials; arbitration and mediation. He has conducted numerous seminars covering these subject areas.
