Efe Poturoglu concentrates his practice on civil litigation with a particular emphasis in insurance coverage and commercial matters. He also handles a broad range of immigration matters including all categories of permanent resident applications and temporary visa applications.

Mr. Poturoglu's commercial litigation experience encompasses such areas as labor and employment, antitrust, breach of contract, fraud and business torts. He also has extensive litigation and counseling experience in insurance coverage matters arising nationwide. Mr. Poturoglu has handled cases involving mass torts, environmental, commercial general liability and professional liability claims.

Mr. Poturoglu's immigration practice includes providing advice and assistance in obtaining all types of temporary visas (including H-1B specialty occupation, L-1 intracompany transfers, K-1 fiancée visa) and permanent residence (green card), and counseling in immigration law strategies with the U.S. federal agencies, at the border and with U.S. Consulates abroad. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Poturoglu successfully represented a Zimbabwean national in obtaining political asylum in the United States.

Mr. Poturoglu received his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center in 2003 where he was a member of the Georgetown Journal of International Law. He received his undergraduate degree in International Business from the University of Denver in 2000. Mr. Poturoglu is a member of the bars of the District of Columbia and Maryland.
Mr. Poturoglu is fluent in French and Turkish. Prior to attending law school, he was a Division I swimmer and a member of the Turkish National Swimming Team.
